Description: 
Nelson Marlborough Health (NMH) is seeking a highly competent Administrator to support the Faster Cancer Treatment (FCT) initiative at Nelson Hospital on a permanent, part-time basis, working 40 hours a fortnight.

We are looking for applicants who are:

  • highly organised
  • able to interpret and report on data
  • capable of developing systems and experienced with videoconferencing
  • have database management experience
  • fluent with medical terminology
  • experienced with agenda management and minute taking in professional meetings.

You will be responsible for supporting and co-ordinating the implementation of systems and processes to ensure that NMH consistently promotes best practice and care for managing cancer services, as part of the national initiative.

Your role will enable increased clinical activity allowing best use of clinicians' time spent caring for patients.

You must be a forward thinker, with excellent organisational and communication skills, combined with a high degree of computer and administration skills. You will also be an active organiser, with initiative and flexibility and the ability to multi task.
