Waikato Signs, a long running signage company based in Hamilton is seeking to recruit an experienced Sign Writer to join our team on a full time basis.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
•2-3 years experience in the signage industry
•Quality workmanship and exceptional attention to detail
•Positive attitude and enthusiasm
•Ability to work unsupervised as well as a part of a team
•Problem solving skills and be able to think on your feet
•Computer design is advantageous
•Professional and friendly manner when dealing directly with customers
•Good communication and written skills
•Must have a current full Driver's License
•NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

Core Competencies:

Sign writing and sign manufacturing skills including:
•Vinyl cutting and weeding
•Vehicle wrapping & application of decals
•Preparation and cutting of substrates
•Manufacturing and installation of large signs
•Experience in using digital & gerber edge printers
•Experience in brushwork if possible but not necessary
•Spray painting (PVC truck curtains etc)

A competitive remuneration will be discussed with the successful applicant and will be dependent on skills.
